Mr Fix is a fast, reliable and highly communicative service - they have completed numerous electrical tasks for me.  The flexibility you have when booking, and the subsequent use of WhatsApp to complete arrangements, makes this an extremely smooth service.

SCAM. Don't bother to check the good reviews, most of them are fake (from people with 1 review) or even by their own freelancers, which are being rated poorly (Ulysses Schui...). Used their service once and it happened the same as everybody says... overpriced, tricky, unprofessional and terribly incompetent. if anybody wants to take legal action I'm in, drop me an email.

Very prompt and efficient service. The team was super helpful in assisting us nailing down the exact help needed and then find us a proper professional help. I used Mr. Fix twice. My first experience was not positive (hence the four stars); because the handyman broke my lamp and I was unaware Mr. Fix does not employ handymen as much as just connect freelancers with customers. The owner of Mr. Fix reached out to discuss the incident and was open to my feedback and suggestions, which is why I decided to give them a second try. My second experience was great and I am happy I gave the service another try. The handyman (Iggy) was efficient and did a great job. I still think the business model can be improved, but seeing as they are a start-up, I am confident they will find the right balance in the business model and continue to connect customers with handymen.

Amazing service over the phone, by email and whatsapp from Reina, shes awsome! Hisham came and fixed what I needed and he was puntual, fast, professional  and very nice as well. Definitely recommended 100%.

We used mrfix to find a professional to remove a  wall and floors for us. We received a match very fast and the team under Lakshay that worked for us was fantastic: on time, did the job quickly and left everything very clean!

The shower floor in the apartment was not pitched correctly and water was ponding in the shower.  Jorgo was able to install tile and fix the pitch in the shower within 2 days of our request on MrFix.  He clearly communicated the job and asked for our feedback when there were decisions to make - telling us the pros and cons of the path forward. I would recommend him without hesitation.

The worst customer experience I ever had in the Netherlands
I made a request to fix my intercom which only works occasionally.
Got an estimate of 1 man-hour.
Quite a nice and friendly electrician arrived 15 min earlier than supposed to. Took a quick look at the system and concluded it’s just too old and worn out to be fixed. Left in 10 minutes since the arrival.
I was not expecting to be charged 80 euros, because no work was actually done and zero value added to my life and intercom situation.
But yeah, I received an invoice for the full hour of course.
I reached out to the support explaining the situation and asking to be a little reasonable. Not charging me 80 euros to come take a brief look and tell me my intercom is too old. I offered to cover the time spent with more appropriate amount of ~30 euro (which is still a lot for no value, but I understand the person has spent time still).
The customer support didn’t agree to any of it. Which I understand they have a right to, but come on, for a service charging 80 euros per hour (per 10 minutes in this case) I really expected a tiny bit of compassion and reasonable attitude.
I ended up just feeling scammed!
I do think if you’re lucky you’ll get in touch with a good contractor and hopefully have a smooth experience. But if anything goes off you’ll have ZERO support from the company itself.
Definitely won’t recommend to risk! It’s quite a money for such a lame value.

As someone who certainly doesn't know how to talk about electrical problems in Dutch, it is great to be able to communicate with Mr Fix so easily in English. They ask for pictures of the job beforehand which is great because the expert who comes knows exactly what they need to do. The expert also gives notice he (or she) is about to arrive, which is helpful too.

Helped me with a paint job at the last minute while I was abroad. Very reasonable prices, great quality of work and seamless service and transaction. Highly recommended!

Eigenlijk op alle fronten tevreden. Uiterst kundige vakman (28 jaar ervaring) kwam de airco installeren. Doordat hij kleine details goed deed en ook uitgebreid uitlegde wat hij deed, wisten we dat deze man het precies wist waar hij het over had. Installatie is dan ook geweldig gegaan. De factuur kwam snel na de klus en daar bleek iets mis gegaan. Vervolgens geappt en binnen enkele minuten (..!) was dit op zaterdagavond om 21u al opgelost. Heel prettige communicatie en kwaliteit van de klusser en de uitgevoerde klus. Door deze prettige ervaring zou ik MrFix zeker opnieuw inhuren.

Ik had voor mijn nieuwe woning een schilder nodig, via MrFix is mijn woonkamer precies zo geworden als ik voor ogen had. Betrouwbaar, snel en goede communicatie!

We had Kaj from Mr.Fix  unmounting and mounting back our kitchen. I thought that job is much simpler. Turned out there are many important details. But Kaj did hiss job nice and neat. Really what I expected.

I have used MrFix for several jobs until now, and everytime they delivered satisfying results! I especially recommend a handyman called Jasper. He has been very helpful and fixed all the issues in my house. Very professional. I would definitely use MrFix again for more jobs.

Ervaring met MrFix is uitstekend. Pas geleden nog moest mijn keuken op nieuw gesteld worden. Deuren sloten niet meer goed. Ik kon nergens op korte termijn een keukenmonteur vinden. Toen MrFix gevraagd. Henny kon snel komen en heeft de klus prima uitgevoerd. En het tarief was lager dan wat ik eerder had gezien.

They have a good concept, nevertheless they do not check the quality of the handyman they hire to do the jobs. Mr fix as a company does not take responsibility for poorly performed jobs. They made me pay full price for a job that had to be re done by another professional. If I would have chosen to not pay the poorly done job I was threatened to be chased by a debt payer.

I asked for us to find a middle point so that we could all be happy and this was a no go for them.

If you do decide to hire Mr fix make sure to not work with the handyman Ulysses Schuitemaker. He is an irresponsible, disrespectful and mediocre worker who is unable to admit his mistakes.

Arranged a plumber who did the job well and at a good price. Good communication. Would definitely use again!

MrFix zelf is opzich prima, het bedrijf is alleen een tussenpersoon en reageert steeds snel.

De klusjesman die ik had was echter een afzetter en zou ik niemand aanraden. Duurde veel te lang, spendeerde meer tijd aan het nadenken dan aan het daadwerkelijk doen. En dat voor 50 eu per uur excl material etc..

Uiteindelijk was nog steeds niet alles af toen hij wegging, maar heb het door een andere klusjesman (niet via mr fix) laten afmaken en die was in een uurtje klaar. Geen aanrader dus!

Mr. Fix is a good service company but the expert they sent for the job Mr. ELHadi was very unprofessional. I had asked help for assembling an IKEA bed and he took 2 hours to do it. He intentionally hid his power tools until it was almost 2 hours and then used them only at the end. He was highly unprofessional and that caused my dissatisfaction.

I'm really happy I found out Mr.Fix online.

For the first time I got in touch with an electrician, Robin, who really knows well his job and he is happy to show me the different possibilities I have for solving a problem without rushing his work though like I've experienced with many electricians before. Not only that, but he also made a beautiful and clean job and fixed every single thing I asked him.

It might seem a very basic remark but the same electrical problems had been shown to 5 electricians in the past and they did not manage, or most probably, were not willing enough to even bother to figure out despite all the money I paid them, to fix the electrical problems I had in my old, weirdly wired house.

So, I'm extremely thankful and pleased with Robin's work as well with Mr.Fix who sent me such a good professional.

The expert didn't manage to fix my dishwasher problem but we managed to agree on a lower fare rate with Mr Fix who was helpful to fix the situation.

As usual, a job well executed by a Mr Fixit tradesman. I've had a bad experience with another company in Amsterdam, so it's refreshing to have discovered a group that puts the emphasis on satisfied customers, and has a great crew of tradesmen of all fields

I find Mr Fix service extremely useful as many times I  spent a lot of time looking for a specific type of technician without knowing about his/her quality and (hidden) fares.
Instead Mr Fix gives reliability about the technician and fares are quite reasonable. It was very responsive and managed to find a technician during the busy Christmas period.
They also speak English and even Spanish!
So I definitely recommend it.

Installing new ceiling lamps & Nest thermostat. Also replacing some switch/sockets - It was nice work done. The expert really knew about process/system. And every step was very well explained like what is he doing, why is he doing it, etc ,etc.

Verschrikkelijk bedrijf. Sturen een loodgieter langs, zonder overleg vervangt deze voor vele honderden euro's onderdelen. Mr. Fix vindt dat ons probleem. Het ligt niet aan Mr. Fix dat de loodgieter je oplicht en dat Mr Fix je in contact heeft gebracht met deze oplichter. Mr Fix garandeert niet dat je fatsoenlijk en goed geholpen wordt. Waarom zou je dan Mr Fix gebruiken? Dan kan ik zelf wel via google iemand vinden als ik toch genaaid wordt. Bespaar jezelf veel moeite en frustratie en blijf weg bij Mr Fix.

Ik werk nu ruim een half jaar voor Mr.Fix. Ik krijg alleen maar positieve reacties over de service van Mr.Fix. Snel, optijd en goed werk.

Voor mij als vakman werkt het ook beter doordat de informatie stroom van klant naar vakman snel en soepel verloopt.

In het verleden was ik zeer positief over Mr. Fix en raadde ik ze vaak aan bij vrienden en familie.
Echter bij een recente ervaring hebben ze het dusdanig verpest dat het ik ze bij lange na NIET zou aanraden en zeker geen zaken meer met ze doe.
Zeer slechte klachtenafhandeling. Abominabele communicatie. Extreem teleurstellende service. Vooral het feit dat er niet inhoudelijk gereageerd wordt op klachten en dat ze zich bij alles verschuilen achter de klusser die liegt en bedriegt.

Mr Fix geeft in reactie aan graag te willen oplossen. In praktijk komt dat nergens op neer. Mr Fix hoeft maar 2 dingen te doen: toegeven dat ze fout zitten en het teveel betaalde bedrag retourneren.

Ik heb nu 2 keer MrFix gebruikt en het is me altijd goed bevallen, snelle response tijd op WhatsApp en duidelijke communicatie.

Zeer onprofessioneel bedrijf, om over de service maar te zwijgen!! Je kan je bellen/mailen maar bij beide krijg je geen gehoor. Zeer ontevreden, dit nooit meer!

Working with this company is a complete waste of your time and money.  They are very unclear about the process and costs and in the end they will send you a huge bill for literally "doing nothing".

I wanted to get an oven fixed. A guy showed up and took the oven with him and said that he will "fix" it in his factory and will charge 1 hour for that. After 1 week of no communication, they send me a quotation of 385 euros to fix an oven that costs 450 euros in the market. They still went ahead and charged me 85 euros to tell me that but there was NO FIX whatsoever. So technically they did absolutely nothing, wasted 2 weeks of my time, no communication about what they did for 2 weeks.

I would recommend you to go to a proper professional who know how to do the job. This website contains people who have no experience and will waste your time.

In het kort gezegt , ik heb met klusjesman Mohammed een afspraak gemaakt voor een lekkage van het CV uitlaatpijp. Die kwam langs en echt gewoon snel kijken dan zei hij dat ik die buis moet vervangen zal de probleem opgelost worden. Na ongeveer 4 maanden onstaat het probleem weer. Heb ik Mr.Fix op contact genomen en die laat mij in contact met Mohammed hebben. Eerste paar reactie die ik van hem kreeg was dat het mijn schuld was. LET OP : Mr. fix is alleen een "tussen persoon" dus die geeft absolute geen garantie op de werk zelf en ook geen garantie dat die klusjesman etc een betrouwbare of professioneel zou zijn. Oh ja , Mohammed kwam snel langs kijken , buis snijden en vervangen ( ongeveer 20 min) dan rekennen ze wel 1 uur tarief. Snijden en vervangen heeft hij wel goed gedaan maar het probleem heeft hij helemaal niet opgelost.

NOT RECOMMENDED. They are expensive vs normal price but I would say, I'm willing to pay more if things are going easy, but that is not the case. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. They pretend to facilitate the communication via whatsapp, but it happened that I wrote everyday and they just ignored my message.

Mensen ik heb voor dit bedrijf gewerkt maar ze weten totaal niet wat ze doen... je moet achter je geld aan als de klant niet betaalt.. wat is jullie functie? geef de klant uit handen aan de klusser dat is mijn advies... ik heb meerdere zelfstandige ondernemers gesproken die nooit meer iets te maken willen hebben met mr.fix!  ze trekken overal hun handen vanaf zowel bij de klant als bij de mensen die klussen voor ze uitvoeren... mijn advies naar de klant toe is benader zelf een zzp-er of bedrijf zeker om de koste te drukken... ze rekenen belachelijke commissiekosten en tarieven voor niks! want mocht het fout gaan tussen 2 partijen dan trekken ze hun handen er vanaf. Ik wacht dat deze comment weer verwijderd wordt hahaha.

Both gentlemen were top. Great work and very nice.

Zeer ontevreden over MrFix. Ga niet met hen in zee!! De communicatie met de monteur over de oplossing van het probleem was zeer ondermaats, waardoor we verrast werden over de gedane zaken. Zonder overleg vervangen van dure onderdelen, waardoor de rekening honderden euro’s hoger uitviel. Bovendien was het oncontroleerbaar of deze onderdelen inderdaad vervangen waren. Na controle door een ander bedrijf lijkt dit NIET het geval te zijn.
Vervolgens een uiterst belabberde klachtenafhandeling. Geen reacties, zelfs niet na zelf meerdere malen telefonisch contact te hebben gezocht. Wij doen nooit meer een klus bij MrFix!!

Wat een ongeloofelijk pruts bedrijf. Mr Fix zou moeten ontzorgen, daarom ging ik met ze in zee. Klus was snel aangenomen, maar daarna ging het bergafwaarts. Klusser kwam de eerste keer niet opdagen. Hierna via whatsapp groep een nieuwe afspraak gemaakt, maar geen enkele excuses vanuit Mr Fix of de klusser. Vervolgens kwam klusser, maar de helft van de tijd was hij aan de telefoon en dus niet bezig met de opdracht. Hierna kwam de rekening, die klopte van geen kant. Teveel uren en andere kosten waar vooraf niet over gecommuniceerd was. Toen dit via email en whatsappgroep aangegeven aan Mr Fix, maar toen bleef het stil. Mr Fix kan zogenaamd de factuur niet aanpassen want de klusser had doorgegeven dat het zo was. Mr Fix kan de kwaliteit van het werkr niet beoordelen, controleren of garanderen. Nou wat een onzin. Sta voor je zaak en wees een man. Ik zou Mr Fix zeker niet aanraden.

When contacting a professional you expect the job  to be carried out to a high standard, especially when being charged 80€/hour.
Unfortunately this is not what happened.
The electrcian, in my case, performed a very average job. MrFix got in touch (admittedly after I posted this review) asking the electrician to remediate the job.
As a customer I have no time to spend on this again. I wanted two plugs installed and I wanted a neat job. Reality is that I should have done it myself as I was charged excessively for both materials and and time.
I also did not appreciate being asked to adjust my review. Scoring will adjust by performing more and more well executed jobs, and not by repeatedly asking to adjust negative reviews.

Worst experience ever: I set out two jobs with Mr Fix
- painting; I agreed on a set time with the painter for a pre check for setting a price -10am sharp (after his suggestion for 11am and Me explaining that was not possible due to other appointments) who showed up 45 minutes late and we had to leave prior to his arrival. I was then told off quite rudely by Mr Fic service department that I have to play according to their rules and they use 1-hour time blocks for visits.
This is completely fine, I am not unreasonable yet they did not communicate this with me other than in the fine print of the email... so I was strictly on time with my 10 week old daughter only to be told off rudely by the service department when I asked where the painter was.
- second job on plumbing was just so stressful as mr fix kept prompting me to answer to the repainman’s question without any time to consider.
All in all, no work done but a very unpleasant experience

Er werd snel een vakman voor me geregeld. Mijn klus kon snel en volgens afspraak worden opgepakt en ik ben heel erg blij met het resultaat!

I would advice to avoid Mr Fix unless you have an extremely urgent problem to solve and you can't wait a day or two to find contractors yourself (there are lots of other websites, you just need the patience to wait for contractors to contact you with an offer).
Their rates are twice as expensive what is normally charged on the market (I compared what I paid to them versus what the contractor that came to do the job gets paid) and they don't offer any support themselves.
I had some problems with the service provider and Mr Fix just disappeared from the moment I had agreed to contract them. Very disappointing. Yet again if you are desperate, then probably it's worth paying the exorbitant premium to them to find a contractor quickly.

Mr. Paul came by today to fix a wardrobe and a rail!

i used MrFix service for assembling my bookshelf and closet. They finished with the bookshelf in 3.5 hours (which normally should just take 2 hours for amateur) and ended up paying 200 euros, which is even more costly than the bookshelf itself! it was not professional, the man forgot some of his tools, also stating the closet would be too heavy for him to do alone so he needed help (well then why do i need to use service?). He did the work by intuition and did not really followed instructions and many times i had to guide him how to assemble the right way!
Also, they only communicated the cost of parking fee after i agree on the offer and the time, which i think should be communicated when they gave the offer.

Overall: unprofessional, unclear communication, extremely expensive

Gisteren voor het eerst met de diensten van Mr Fix gewerkt. Het is allemaal prima gegaan, de klus was snel klaar dankzij klusman Bachir en zijn compagnon. Ik ben ontzettend tevreden. En nu weet ik waar ik terecht kan voor klussen.

Really happy with the service from MrFix. I needed an expert at short notice to fix my fence and clear up my (very) overgrown garden.  The expert was very accommodating in finding a date that suited us both and the guys arrived early, completed the job in one day at a very good standard. The WhatsApps group made communication easy. Very pleased with the service from both MrFix and the expert. I would highly recommend MrFix.

Slechte service én slecht uitgevoerd werk. Ik wilde een muur behangen met vliesbehang maar besloot dit niet zelf te doen om tijd tijdens onze verhuizing te besparen. In plaats van Werkspot, wat ik normaal gebruik, dacht ik dat Mr. Fix een handig alternatief zou zijn: geen vakmannen vergelijken maar gewoon een kundige behanger op de stoep voor een vast tarief.

Helaas was het behang slecht behangen (lijmvlekken die niet meer weggingen, ongelijk opgehangen, kiertjes tussen de banen) en mailde ik Mr. Fix met een klacht met foto's. Ten eerste vond ik het ontzettend onprofessioneel dat mijn volledige email vervolgens in een whatsapp gesprek met de 'vakman' en Mr Fix werd geplakt, zonder eerst met mij contact op te nemen. De enige nazorg die Mr. Fix kon bieden was dezélfde behanger nog eens langs te sturen, waarbij ik zelf het nieuwe behang nog eens zou moeten betalen, plus parkeerkosten en andere materialen. Meer konden ze niet doen. Daarvoor kies ik niet voor een bemiddelaar natuurlijk! Aangezien ik, als ik een nieuwe behanger zou zoeken, nog meer geld kwijt zou zijn ben ik akkoord gegaan.

Volgens de 'vakman' kon het behang wel over het bestaande behang geplakt worden, dus zo gezegd zo gedaan. Dit was afgelopen vrijdag. Het zag er een stuk netter uit dus ik was er ok mee. Helaas komt vanochtend (maandag) baan voor baan doodleuk los van de muur naar beneden. Ik ga het behang maar zelf helemaal verwijderen en opnieuw behangen: dit grapje heeft me dus 240 euro aan arbeidskosten gekost, twee originele rollen behang a 100 euro totaal, twee nieuwe rollen behang a 100 euro totaal, en nog zit ik met een ongelooflijk slecht behangen muur waar ik WEER nieuw behang en lijm voor moet aanschaffen.
Voor mij NOOIT meer Mr. Fix, en voor een bemiddelingsbedrijf voor klussen waarbij je direct een 'betrouwbare vakman' vindt bieden ze bizar slechte service bij klachten.

MrFix is really good in searching you the right expert. I've used MrFix many times and the never disappointed me. 5 stars!

Was perfect until I received an invoice, which was for higher amount than it should be. I though that by working with them I will avoid  "invoicing more hours than they worked" - as they claim at the web site. Don't work with them, it's more expensive than on the "market" and still they will  charge you extra

Very quick to find a specialist and the job done has exceeded my expectations.

Trustworthy service. The people they work with are always on time and polite. Highly recommended.

These guys are money mongers. They will overcharge you like crazy.

1. The guy worked at my place for an hour and they charged me for 1.5 hours saying they consider upper bounds of 30 minutes on both sides for time.

2. They put 2 materials which are available in gamma for 15 euros combined, but they asked me for 54 euros (and they do not provide you invoice for the same).

I would say better look somewhere else for getting the job done.

I have asked the plumber to fix my tap. Fixed price for that is 80 Eur/hour. I aksed for full quotation including material costs, they said i should not worry about it as i will be charged only fair price. Upon arrival plumber replaced the tap without offering me the options to chose from and charged 133 eur for the tap and 13 eur for materials on top of hourly rate.

When I checked the price of the tap on the market it appeared to be significantly cheaper. I asked to decrease the price but got the response that " the plumber needs to earn something" and it's not up to MrFix to fix these disagreements.

In the end I paid the price as client orientation is not what this service exists for. But I would never use it again and would warn other customers to be ready for similar surprises.

I was very happy with the service provided by Mr. Fix. Everything was well managed end to end, from booking the appointment till the payment was all hassle free. The work itself was very well done. The handyman was diligent about utilizing our time properly. I found that really nice. All in all, a great experience. I would definitely recommend Mr. Fix.

We requested work and within two days we had a one hour timeslot agreed. The handyman arrived within the agreed time. The work was done quickly and we are very happy with the results.

Due to faulty wiring on our washing machine we had an electrical shortage. I contacted MrFix for an electrician and I was helped and allocated an expert within three hours. I contacted them and they were able to help me the very next day. Our electrician was on time and very friendly and professional. He explained all his steps to fix the electric cord of the appliance. The issue was speedily resolved and we are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Andreas, our electrician, for his professionalism and friendliness; as well as MrFix for their speedy service.

Deze club heeft een landelijk netwerk aan vakmensen. Aardige jongen over de vloer gehad die eea heeft geprobeerd (wat ik zelf ook al had gedaan) en ook niet verder kwam. Hij had niet genoeg verstand van deze specifieke ketel (niet per se een hele zeldzame of zo). Dus al met al: wel kosten, geen fix. Teleurstellend.

Prima en duidelijke communicatie over de uitvoering van de werkzaamheden. Werkzaamheden zijn ook keurig uitgevoerd.

I had an electrical connection issue in my apartment which resulted in no Ziggo TV or internet connection. MrFix arranged for an electrician to visit the next day and resolve the issue. The whole service from start to finish was very quick, efficient and cheap. I will definitely be using MrFix again.

Ze zouden de buitenwand bekleden met steenstrips, dit zou dan het plakken van de steenstrips zijn en daarna het voegen hiervan.
het plakken ging prima en zag er perfect uit, we werden er al helemaal blij van maar helaas zijn ze daarna gaan voegen met de franse slaf en hebben ze de hele tegels weggesmeerd, wat betekend dat we een tegel hadden met een werkje erin in 2 kleuren (rood/geel) maar deze dus volledig is dichtgesmeerd en vervolgens niet meer schoon te krijgen is.
ze zijn daarna nog wel langsgekomen om te kijken of ze het konden verhelpen maar dat is helaas niet gelukt (hiermee hebben ze meer de voegen beschadigd als dat ze van de stenen af hebben gekregen..
we haddeb nog aangegeven dat er gevoegd moest worden met een voegspijker maar zij gaven aan het altijd zo te doen en dat het allemaal wel goed zou komen.
ik heb nieuws (voor ze) het komt nooit meer goed en wij zitten nu met een muur die dus niet naar wens is maar waar niets meer aan is te doen.
wel nog een korting bedongen maar je blijft toch met een knoop in je maag achter (en een muur die dus niet naar wens is.

Arrogante agessieve manier van aquisitie.
Na het invullen van het contact formulier was de eerste reactie dat (voor het kitten van een schuifpui) een specialist nodig was die 70 euro per uur zou vragen ipv de 50, die op de site gecommuniceerd wordt.
Vervolgens werd ik aan iemand gekoppeld via een whatsapp groep. Er volgen allerlei automatisch aangemaakte emails, waarbij ik steeds aan geef alleen nog maar een offerte wil, en vragen beantwoord wil hebben en geen afspraak wil maken.
Er vind ook nog een telefoontje plaats waarbij zeggen dat de datum nog niet geldt en het alleen een automatisch aangemaakte afspraak is, zodat een appgroep aangemaakt kan worden en ik gekoppeld kan worden aan de superklusser.
Twee dagen later reageert de klusser op de app en direct roept Richard van fixit in die groep: "Is dit okay, rene? je hebt tot 14.30 de tijd te annuleren"
Ik las die app pas s avonds en vond hem sowieso te prijzig in vergelijking met een andere offerte. Vervolgens probeert mr Fix me alsnog voor 1 uur voor zijn supervakman te laten betalen.

One of the best service for the expat. Once I raised a query everything was arranged within a day for a task which was expected to be done in a short notice. The painter did a fabulous job and was constantly in touch with me either through Whatsapp or phone.
For all expats, I would definitely recommend working with MrFix.nl. English speaking staff. All details are collected in a very very efficient manner. One of the best services in Netherlands.

Updated review: Originally I wasn't satisfied with a job MrFix contractor executed. They have since then taken steps to address my concerns so I am updating my review.

Pros:
- Really quick response
- WhatsApp group is a great idea, communication is a lot easier
- Supposedly more trustworthy local contractors compared to Werkspot
- Short turnaround time - can expect to get started very quickly after reaching out

Things to keep in mind
- The inspection cost is separate whether you decide to hire the contractor or not
- It can be hard to gauge how much time a certain type of job should take. Be prepared if your job is complicated since the rate is on an hourly basis

Brengen torenhoge kosten in rekening bij alleen het offreren van de klus. Niks uitgevoerd, alleen 5 minuten komen kijken hoe de klus gedaan zou moeten worden. Hoppa, rekening van 105,00 euro.

Stay away from this company as they work with irresponsible masters and can’t offer a solution when things go wrong. I agreed with them for wallpapers. work was going to be done by Joey (stay away from him). On the day Joey did not show up and he said he forgot the appointment even though many messages and he said he is at another work. We could never reach him after that. Obviously he found a bigger job. When I called Mr. Fix they said they don’t have any relationship with me and everything between me and the master. They could not offer any solution in time and I had to find someone else and paid a lot more. They said they will warn Joey but could not confirm whether they will stop working with him. They also said I am not the only one experiencing this problem. So irresponsible masters and no solution = stay away

Very impressed! We had Vincent do some carpentry work at our restaurant in the centre of Amsterdam. What an amazing result, we are so happy with the work carried out. We are a very busy daytime spot so Vincent was happy enough to work around that and have the work done over the course of 2 weeks early in the morning or the evening. He was a pleasure to have around and bonded with the whole team. We plan to use Mrfix every single time. Also love that all communication was done using whatsapp in a group created by Mrfix.
